GROUNDED THEORY NAS PESQUISAS EM EDUCAÇÃO SEXUAL: O “TRÂNSITO” DA INDUÇÃO AO HIPOTÉTICO-DEDUTIVO

The purpose of this Research Note is to indicate the possible (or not) operability of the Popperian method to inductive research in sex education, under the GT methodology. The object of study is the GT methodology that is placed under the proposal of “proving” (or transit, from inductivism) to the Popper parameter that establishes the hypothetical-deductive method as a solution to the induction problem. This “transit” of the results of research on sex education under the WG does not invalidate them, since the methodology is attested as coherent, valid, useful and applicable. However, it is considered that for the field of research in education, particularly in sex education, such “transit” is of paramount importance for the advancement of knowledge of the area and advances, also, in the consolidation of qualitative research in Education in Brazil and the training of researchers (as) GT. For purposes of this Research Note, the methodology employed is bibliographic. The results indicate the possibility of this “transit”, even though Popper dealt with research in the exact sciences, particularly the Physics. Such approach of Popper's thought to the social sciences and social applied has already been an attempt and what was sought to draw in this Note is precisely to be proposed that the hypothetical-deductive method be considered applicable in research in inductive-based sex education, such as GT, this, the main conclusion of the article. Keywords: sex education, Grounded Theory, Popper.Objetiva-se com esta Nota de Pesquisa indicar a possível (ou não) operacionalidade do método popperiano às pesquisas indutivas em educação sexual, sob a metodologia GT. O objeto de estudo é a metodologia GT que é colocada sob a proposta de “comprovação” (ou trânsito, a partir do indutivismo) para o parâmetro de Popper que estabelece o método hipotético-dedutivo como solução para o problema da indução. Este “trânsito”, dos resultados de pesquisas em educação sexual sob a GT não as invalidam, já que, a metodologia é atestada como coerente, válida, útil e aplicável. Contudo, considera-se que para o campo das pesquisas em educação, particularmente, em educação sexual, tal “trânsito” é de suma importância para o avanço do conhecimento da área e avanços, também, na consolidação das pesquisas qualitativas em Educação no Brasil e a formação de pesquisadores (as) GT. Para fins desta Nota de Pesquisa, a metodologia empregada é bibliográfica. Os resultados indicam a possibilidade deste “trânsito”, mesmo que Popper tenha tratado de pesquisas nas ciências exatas, particularmente, a Física. Tal aproximação do pensamento de Popper às ciências sociais e sociais aplicadas já tem sido uma tentativa e o que se procurou desenhar nesta Nota é justamente ser proposto que o método hipotético-dedutivo seja considerado aplicável nas pesquisas em educação sexual de base indutiva, como a GT, esta, a principal conclusão do artigo.
